Happy New Year to my gorgeous readers!
New Year’s Eve can be a tricky one. You either love it or you hate it. The general vibe from most people I know towards New Years is pretty glum. The pressure is on to have a ‘good time’ just because it’s the last day of the year. This ‘forced fun’ isn’t helped by the fact that you feel like you should do something to celebrate the night regardless of how the year had treated you. First you have trouble deciding what to do and where to go, then you have to pay ridiculous prices to get into places where they are usually paying you to come in! Then you have the issue of getting home which is always a nightmare and extortionate on NYE that no wonder people are now opting for the ‘stay at home and watch the fireworks on TV’ scenario.
Like most, I’ve had some brilliant New Year’s Eve’s and some down right pants ones. Last year I got terribly drunk on Gin and apparently I turned into the Exorcist cruising the crimson wave from hell. I spent most of the next day bringing up the remnants of the poison that I shall never touch again. Such a Lady.
But this New Year’s Eve was different. We were kindly invited to a wedding and not just any wedding, but a fabulous wedding and it turned out to be one of the best New Years Eve’s Ever. It was a gooden’….

The night was everything you could hope for in a beautifully planned wedding and we certainly had lots to celebrate and be thankful for after the fantastic year we’ve had …2013 was good to us.
