I can’t actually believe that I’m talking about Christmas Stocking Filler Ideas already.
Especially as our Halloween stuff is still piled up on our landing waiting to go up to the loft.
Whilst some refused to mention the C word before 1st December, the rest of us either love to get started as soon as possible or have to start early in order to spread the stress and the financial woes that come with the festive season.
As much as we would all love to be jolly about the Christmas, crikey, it really can be expensive. According to a recent survey by Netmums, the average cost of Christmas Stockings has risen to around £70.00…yikes!
The Stocking Filler Challenge
So the pressure is on more than ever to make Christmas magical for our little people. Which is why I’ve taken on the Christmas Stocking Filler Challenge with Rex London. They have such a brilliant collection of gifts for everyone in the family at a range of prices. So they have set a challenge to fill a stocking full of goodies using just half the budget of the current average price.
I do love a challenge…particularly a Christmas shopping-related challenge.
I’ve scoured their fabulous range of stocking fillers and gifts and put together the perfect Christmas Stocking for our little threenager, Queen Elsie Belle.
Christmas Stocking Filler Ideas For A Threenager
I’m really thrilled with the selection of gifts that I’ve found. I could have easily chosen a gift for everyone I know all in one place. Everything relates to something that she’s currently really into and I just can’t wait to see her little face open everything on Christmas morning.
Elsie is at that stage where she loves lots of cute, magical little things. So, of course, a lot of the items I opted for had a sparkly, colourful and magical theme to it. The Unicorn notebook, colouring pencils, painting set and erasers will go down a real treat. They will be the items that she carries around with her for days, taking them in and out of all of her little bags and special boxes.
I remembered having a magic scratch artboard when I was younger which I absolutely loved. So I know that Elsie will just love practising her drawing on this Magic Rainbow one too. She’s also really into Bath Bombs, (much to the dismay of her little sister who refuses to get in any bath where the water isn’t clear!) but the Magical Unicorn Heart & Mermaid Shell Fizzer will go down a treat when she has a big girl bath, (which just means a bath without Baby Billie!)
With life being so busy, I really want to find games and activities that we can do together over the festive period. The 3D Fire Engine Puzzle will be great for Elsie to build with Daddy and I’m hoping that we can all have fun together playing this very cute Heads & Tails game.
