Last weekend we went to Center Parcs, Elveden Forest for four days of fun-filled adventures.
We’d heard such great things about Center Parcs from others and with this being the first time experiencing it for ourselves, we couldn’t wait to arrive. Having had to pretty much remortgage to cover the cost of the trip, we were really hoping that it would live up to the hype…and it totally did.
A Weekend Of Adventure
It was a jam-packed, brilliant weekend of adventures, new experiences and a few dramas thrown in for good measure. The weekend catered to all of us, not just the children and everyone absolutely loved all of the activities and amenities the complex that had to offer.
There is just so much to cover from our weekend, so I’m going to put together another post as a review on our first trip to Center Parcs separately because as mini holidays go, this is a pricey one. So feel that it deserves more insight to help anyone wanting to invest in this kind of family break.
Spending Precious Time Together
Going away for weekends is a real luxury for most families. We work so hard for every penny, so time away together is really precious. You ideally want to be organised and prepared, especially when travelling with small children. So whilst it’s still fresh in my mind I wanted to create a packing list for Center Parcs. A list of all the things that we took with us and most importantly used.
I’ve also included some items that I wish we had taken with us. Which will be some help to others and be a reminder in the future, if we are lucky enough to go again.
